Junior Sales Manager
The Junior Sales Manager under direction of Director of Operations has overall responsibility for sales in the Metropolitan Area and the rest of the country.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for achieving the targets for sales per month/year.
• Responsible for the administration and direction of the contractual commitments for his/her sales.
• Establishes and maintains client contacts and working arrangements with clients.
• Prepares Sales Plan & Quotations, initiates launching and kick-off meetings and controls the preparation of documents and reports necessary for execution of the project.
• Prepares the project organization chart and arranges for staffing of each key position and for optimum utilization of the assigned team.
• Carries responsibility for the execution of design, engineering and procurement where applicable of the sales.
• Prepares, and issues the project progress report on a regular basis.
• Responsible for execution where applicable especially scheduling and planning, progress, cost and completion.
Minimum requirements:
• At least Bilingual EN/SP, Portuguese or French big plus
• Strong commercial focus:
• Minimum Bachelors degree Preferable University Degree, preferably in International Business, Economics , Administration or Marketing or equivalent combination of work experience is required
• Minimum of 3-5 years proven work experience in Direct Sales Mainly cold leads. Sales Experience in the healthcare industry high preference.
• Self-Motivation - Able to start and persist with specific courses of action
• Competitiveness - Demonstrates a need to win accepts a challenge enjoys competitive activities dislikes to lose.
• Planning - Able to organize and schedule tasks plans ahead considers preparation priority setting, and structure to be important.
• Keywords: Self-Confident takes Initiative Independent Assertive Goal Oriented
• Technical Sales Skills - Able to successfully advocate, encourage, promote, or otherwise cause the acceptance of products and services identify and satisfy customer needs understand and overcome objections.
• PC and Internet skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
• Knowledge/affinity with other cultures, preferably European Cultures
• Flexible must be able to quickly adapt to new situations/environments
• Willingness to make extra hours
• Knowledge of international trade is a pre.
• Strong oral communication and listening skills as to handle many international business contacts at various levels including high level governmental representatives but also lower level technicians
• Age between 27-35
• Full time, 40 hours p/Week Overtime not expected, but flexible attitude
• Sense of humor, motivated, flexible and hard working.
• Must own car and drivers license.
SALARY: 2 months base salary, followed by Commission on Sales Volume and Compliance of Target Sales TBD.
