In-Country Market Research Analyst

Euromonitor International seeks In-Country Market Research Analystscontratistas, who work on a per project basis from a home-office, conducting a full-time research study on the beverages market in Costa Rica. Core responsibilities include primary and secondary research data manipulation, validation and analysis and report writing and editing in English.

Our projects

Our research would address the following questions in order to deliver insightful business intelligence to clients:

• How much fruit juice was consumed in Costa Rica in 2008? How does this compare to the previous year?

• Who are the leading companies in shampoo? What share is held by the leading brands?

• Is there a market for my product? What channels should we sell through? Who are our competitors and how should we position our offering to best effect?

A successful candidate will be located in Costa Rica and must be analytical and detail-oriented. A strong background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable.

Skill requirements:
• High level of numeracy
• Familiarity with consumer goods markets in Costa Rica
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows and Internet searches
• Research track record
• Project management and editorial skills an advantage
